Project: futtbot

Well it all started with the need for a Google Talk presence indicator for this website… But it evolved into a jabber bot of sorts. Will be hacking at it for a bit, but for the time being it will do mostly presence detection and reporting.

If you want to try it, feel free. Add futtbot@jabber.com to your google talk/jabber roster, and it will start tracking you. The web integration bit is a bit on the hairy side at the moment so… Let me know if you wanna try it.

    OK so the thing seems quite unstable at the moment. Mostly due to jabber.org instability, keeps getting disconnected, but I’m working on a workaround ;)
