Google Writely (beta)

The next member of the google office family, the recently aquired Writely online collaborative word processor, has entered public beta. Piling on top of Google Spreadsheets, Google Calendar, Google Base, and of course Google Mail, we’ve almost got a complete office suite now!
Writely lets you upload MS Office, OpenOffice.org and RTF docs, edit them online, and save them locally as OpenOffice, MS Office or PDF files - or simply print them. Writely also supports realtime collaborative editing of documents.
Writely is not very tightly integrated with other, related Google products such as Spreadsheets, but I guess that’s coming. There is some Blogger integration, but that extends to other XMLRPC based blog engines as well. Got to test that some day.
